Coming Soon – Easter Meet – Thursday 18th – Tuesday 23rd April.
We Invite all Camping and Caravanning Club members to join us at Longden Village Hall, near Shrewsbury. We have evening events in the Village Hall each night with games, quizzes a raffle and bingo. In the day in the hall we will have Easter activities for the children, chocolate nests, decorated biscuits and Easter crafts, bring your own hard boiled egg, games and movie afternoons if the weather is unkind.
Alveley Social Club – 22nd – 24th March 2019
Sixteen units from across the Midlands, including West Midlands DA and BCC, Derbyshire, Chase, North Staffs, and of course, Shropshire, attended our first of 2 meets this year at this popular venue near Bridgnorth.
Most Camped 2018
At our recent AGM, our Treasurer, Ken Michael, was delighted to present the trophy for 'Most Camped' for the previous year, to the winners, Vince and Linda Beddoes, who joined us at 14 meets.
Shropshire DA AGM 2019 – 8th – 10th March 2019

Free Steward Camping
Our Site Secretary, Vince Beddoes, has been very busy contacting the sites that we visit and negotiating free camping for stewards. We are very pleased to confirm that the majority of the site owners have agreed and therefore following Vince's proposal, the committee unanimously agreed to provide free steward camping at all Shropshire DA meets going forward.
Shropshire DA AGM Weekend – 8th -10th March
It is a need at this point to attract more members to join the committee, it is important to have a healthy cross section of committee members to represent the whole of Shropshire DA.
Valentines at High Ercall Village Hall: 15th – 17th February 2019
t has been a long time since Shropshire DA held a Valentines meet, so we were unsure of what to expect, we needn't have worried though as a fantastic 21 units from Shropshire, Derbyshire, Staffs, North Staffs, Lancashire & Cheshire, Worcester & Hereford and West Midlands, arrived in unseasonably warm weather for our first meet of 2019.
