Nice field, fantastic views, the hottest bank holiday Monday for ages and lovely people, Perfect.
Shropshire D.A hosted this bank holiday meet at Kevindale, Broome, Aston on Clun.
This site is run by Kim and Kevin who couldn’t do enough to make our stay as trouble free as possible. Kevin keeps his own poultry so there were fresh hen and duck eggs available to buy.
Friday, the first day, was meet and greet day with everyone coming together in the evening for a few gin and tonics!!
Saturday people did their own thing during the day, finishing off with a communal barbeque and a few more gin and tonics!!
Sunday was the first day of the Green Man
Festival held at Clun. Those that went said it was very enjoyable. We again were able to sit out all evening discussing the days activities over, yes you’ve guessed it, a few more gin and tonics!!
There was also a pub within walking distance of the site which was very welcoming.
Monday was going home day which nobody seemed in a hurry to do, but all good things must come to an end.
In total we had 12 units attend, 9 caravans and 3 motorhomes.
