The good old British weather cancelled several meets due to the rain but fortunately the Shropshire DA meet was unaffected. We had 10 units join us from West Midlands, Birmingham, East Worcester and Staffordshire.

The social club gave us a dry retreat on Friday night where we went and enjoyed a drink and each others company. Saturday night was Skittles night and an American supper with grey peas and bacon which went down a treat.

All was to play for to take the crown from last year’s winners Andrew and Linda but they reigned supreme again taking the top spot.

The Children’s competition was won by Ben and in second place was Alfie and in third Oliver.

A pleasant evening was had by all, conversations with new people and new friendships made.

After a rather wet evening we awoke to a dry morning to allow us to pack up then a walk back over to the social club for coffee morning.
