This was a new site for Shropshire DA near Market Drayton in our lovely county.  An amazing site with great views and with grass mowed to perfection and within walking distance of Market Drayton.

Seven units attended including four juniors amusing themselves and helping us older folk.

Friday the sun shone and we made the most of it. We held an impromptu cheese and wine evening, the members supported this beautifully with bottles of wine appearing from everywhere, the friendly club at its absolute best.

On Saturday groups walked and drove in to Market Drayton and enjoyed the shops and local hostelries then in the afternoon/evening we enjoyed the sunshine and the chat and drink flowed.

Over the weekend most of the visitors made a trip just up the road to the local pub which had great reviews.

Sunday arrived and no one was keen to go so it was coffee morning then a real treat with a tour of the landowner’s tractor workshops, before people started to depart this tranquil site.

We look forward to next year’s visit and it has been booked for a longer stay so there are more happy times to come at Orchard Cottage.
