After the disappointment of last year’s cancellation due to Covid, it was fantastic to be back at beautiful Weston Park for the Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular.

The site opened at 1pm on the Friday, and stewards Vince and Linda began to welcome the expectant campers.

Friday and Saturday provided the opportunity to relax onsite and explore the grounds of Weston Park in the Autumnal conditions, or visit further places a little further afield.

Sunday was the main event, with the gates to the park opening at 2pm allowing people to visit the onsite fairground and attractions, before the lighting of the bonfire and 2 fabulous firework displays. After the display, some campers left for home whilst others stayed until Monday morning for a more leisurely departure.

In total, 51 Adults, 5 Children and 2 youth attended in 16 motorhomes and 10 caravans from various DAs including Shropshire, Somerset, Staffordshire, North Staffs, Birmingham, Chase, West Midlands, North Warwicks, Berkshire, Liverpool and SW Lancs, Worcester & Hereford, Northants and Lancs & Cheshire.
