We welcomed 16 units from various DA’s to the Ebury Hill club site near Shrewsbury for a 4 night meet, including the now famous Laura’s Saturday afternoon tea and cake party.

For the first 3 days people came and went at their leisure, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful site and its proximity to Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.

On Friday evening Ken and Andrew undertook the ‘Fish & Chip’ run, which was well received, and then after a quiet morning, Saturday brought the much anticipated main event, the tea party. A fabulous array of delicious cakes were provided by Laura and her helpers, and were very well received by all of us, definitely some Great British Bake Off contenders!

Sunday morning we had a relaxing coffee morning, as the weather was kind to us and stayed dry people were in no hurry to leave, and gradually made their way home.

This is a lovely site which has always proved to be popular with our members and those from other DA’s and sections, and is sure to be booked again next year.
