18 units attended this new site at Calf Heath Marina, with visitors from North Staffs, Staffs, Hereford & Worcester and West Midlands DAs for our Mayday Birthday Meet.

After the fish and chip run on Friday evening a social gathering was held in the on site bar where we all had a good catch up.

Saturday was a lazy day, with some people taking a gentle stroll to the local pub, looking at the canal or just enjoying some downtime.

In the evening we had a disco and karaoke, and a celebration for Oliver’s birthday. Who knew that we have so many talented performers in the DA! It was a fantastic evening, see the videos on the Facebook page.

Sunday afternoon was the DA’s 66th Birthday celebrations, with fantastic cakes provided by Laura, and some drinks as well, followed by games and quizzes organised by Ade and Ali, and then a lovely buffet arranged by the venue.

The weekend was brought to a close on Monday morning with coffee morning in the conservatory.

A very enjoyable weekend and we will be looking to book this again next year, possibly as an early meet.
