On behalf of Shropshire DA can I congratulate the committee on a very successful New Years Eve meet.

The 2017 Shropshire DA New Year Meet was held from the 28th December 2017 to 2nd January 2018 at Calf Heath Marina and 22 units joined us from 5 different DA’s.

The venue, food and entertainment was superb. Thanks to those who came along and we trust you all had a good time.

Thursday’s opening day saw some members get together for a social drink.

Friday evening music🎶 was played and again those joining us got together for a social drink.

Saturday saw Barry’s head scratching quiz and my picture quiz.

Sunday, the main event, New Years Eve, saw everyone get together for a trouble free evening of laughter and dancing.

Special thanks to Barry and June who welcomed fellow campers to site and stewarded the meet and a big thanks to Ali and Ken for their help during the meet and the planning beforehand and to Andrew and Tracy for organising all of the bookings.

We wish you all a happy New Year and hope to see you at one of our meets in 2018.
